With an extensive background in green coffee buying, roasting, and a string of prestigious awards, Ryan is set to bring the company’s roasting program to new heights and lend a fresh approach to Pegasus’ classic, time-tested roasts and blends.
Ryan comes to Pegasus with 15 years of coffee industry experience, including the past 10 years as head roaster, green buyer and barista educator for Seattle's Caffe Ladro. He also brings a proven track record of award-winning roasts, including two prestigious Good Food Awards (2019-2020), as well as the MistoBox Golden Mug Award for the Best Blend (2019). His deep knowledge of specialty roasting, combined with a strong commitment to coffee quality and sustainability, will be integral as Pegasus continues to evolve and build upon its 46-year reputation for outstanding coffee.
